Threads
In Orion101, a thread represents an individual chat conversation between a user and an agent or the execution of a specific workflow. Threads are fundamental to tracking interactions, maintaining context, and analyzing the performance of agents over time. Each thread captures the entirety of a conversation, including messages exchanged and any associated metadata.
On the Threads page within the Orion101 interface, you will find a comprehensive list of all threads in the system. Selecting a specific thread provides a detailed view of its contents, including:
The full history of messages exchanged between the user and the agent.
Metadata related to the thread, such as files uploaded by the user or created by the agent during the interaction.
Deleting Threads
Deleting a thread permanently removes it from the system. This action cannot be undone. If the deleted thread was associated with an agent, the user's chat history with that agent will no longer be available, and any future interactions with that agent will begin as a completely new conversation.
Maintaining threads is crucial for users who rely on continuity or context in their conversations, so caution is advised when managing or deleting threads. By preserving threads, Orion101 ensures that agents can reference previous interactions, improving their relevance and personalization over time.
